Keep your journal private when sharing
Review the audience, precise locations, photos and client attribution before publishing or copying a fishing report.

Choose deliberately
Your catch history, voice notes and trip work contain more detail than most public reports need. Review the Privacy Policy for processing and third-party services. Private storage does not mean that transcription or other online services never receive data.
Social features are separately controlled. Where available, publication and leaderboard participation require explicit choices. Do not assume a public report and a private client recap have the same audience.
Before a report leaves the app
Read the exact text and inspect every image. Remove precise locations, client names, license information and other private details that should not leave the trip. A recognizable bank or sign can disclose a spot even without GPS metadata.
- Confirm whose catches are included, particularly on guided trips.
- Review the report and any selected location sharing options.
- Check photos, captions and copied text, then choose the recipient or platform yourself.
- Keep private client notes separate; ask before sharing another angler’s information.
After sharing
Someone who receives a copy may keep or redistribute it. Editing the original journal does not recall a screenshot, copied report or downloaded photo. Contact support if you need help with an app publication, and separately remove copies on any outside platform you used.
